BARGAINING BULLETINS

Below are explanations of the cuts demanded of all education workers in the Liberals’ Budget.  Please read through in order to understand what we are facing in this round of upcoming negotiations. The Bulletins detail the latest news from provincial office regarding the state of meetings with the provincial government and steps taken by your union leadership.  Local bargaining has not yet begun but preparations,  including meetings with other bargaining units at the TDSB about specific issues, are occurring regularly.

    Lieu Day Information

All PSSP members are entitled to one “additional paid holiday from work in each work year”….   This is commonly known as the “lieu day” but that term is not used in our collective agreement (see pgs 69 – 70).  For your secretaries to code it on SAP, it is listed as “Designated Day” and the code is 120.
