A further maintenance review process to address the 2013-2014 school year is underway.   The job class, Multilingual Team Leaders, were eligible for a full review of their position based on the restructuring of that position in early 2013. .  The joint Job Evaluation Committee is meeting in May to review their Job Analysis Questionnaire.  We anticipate having Addendum 0002 completed  in late June or early in the new school year, after it goes through the evaluation and Steering Committee processes.

April 28: Day of Mourning

Tuesday, April, 8th, 2014 by Nancy Vogel

Every year on April 28 we pay our respects to, and remember, the thousands of workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents.  We also honour the many families and friends who have been deeply affected by these tragedies. Every worker has the right to return home safe and sound at the end of each work day.  By working together – employers, workers and our health and safety partners – we can prevent worker injuries and deaths before they occur.
